Pharmachem Laboratories, the developer and manufacturer of Phase 2® standardized white bean extract to control starch absorption, requires its Phase 2® customers to enter into a license agreement that only permits structure/function claims authorized by DSHEA and substantiated by appropriate studies.

Pharmachem continuously polices websites of marketers to assure that their claims are in accord with the above-noted claim requirements. Pharmachem has the right to terminate its Phase 2® license with a particular cusotmer if Pharmachem determines that these requirments are not met. Pharmachem has sent cautionary notices to individual firms whose claims are questionable, requesting claim deletion or revison.

Specific claims are the responsibility of marketers of products containing Phase 2®. Studies on Phase 2® that may be reviewed for claim substantiation may be found on the Pharmachem's Phase 2® website.

It is not permitted to use the images or quotations of any principal investigator of the below-listed clinical studies or any spokesperson in any consumer product literature or advertising without their specific written consent.
